For example, an organization that uses the same ERP in regions A and B may face the problem that a purchase order issued in region A must specify parameters that do not exist or have no equivalent in region B. A global ERP is meant to help in moving data from one part of the organization to another, even if the organizations are in different countries, but this fluidity may create legal problems.
